Due to the delicate nature of paints, we are not responsible for any damage
to existing painted surfaces. We do not paint or caulk.
Ø
We are not responsible for breakage during removal or reattachment of moldings
and baseboards.
Ø
Cost of labor does not include cutting of doors that do not clear carpet
or hardwood.
Ø
If a job requires any railing, capping, upholstered steps, metal strips,
and/or thresholds, there will be an additional charge.
Ø
We make every attempt to provide a non-visible seam, however a perfect
seam cannot be gauranteed.
Ø
CFD is not responsible for carpet or hardwood that does not sit properly
due to settling or structural variance in dwellings. This includes baseboards
and shoe moldings.
Ø
Home improvement is a delicate and sometimes unpredictable process. Thus, we are not responsible for unforeseen damages to neighboring units.
Ø
We estimate the cost of each job to the best of our ability. Charges will be incurred for unforeseen additional time and materials required.
Ø
If work not previously specified in the contract is requested, the balance
of the original contract must be paid in full prior to the completion of additional tasks.
Ø
Construction is an unpredictable business; therefore, we cannot guarantee
any job completion dates. We are not responsible for reasonable unanticipated
delays, damages or loss due to delays in job completion.
Ø
All sales are final. We do
not offer refunds. Verbal agreements are not valid.
Ø
All orders are custom and are specially ordered for you. Orders are not subject to cancellation. A 25% restocking fee
applies to all written approval returns from manufacturer.
Ø
We are not responsible for slight color variations when switching carpet
rolls
Ø
Wood is a natural material containing distinctive differences in color
and grain configuration. Some variations of shade do occur.
Ø
Installations are guaranteed for a period of 12 months against defects
in our workmanship.
Ø
By signing this contract, you agree to pay for all court and other collection
costs that are incurred by CFD its officers or employees in the event that you default on this contract, including all reasonable
attorney’s fees. This is in addition to all sums owed to Chris Jon Inc. t/a/ Carpet and Floor Designs.
Ø
In the event of a returned check you will be charged a $35.00 processing
fee.
Ø
Any attempt to Charge Back or deny a signed credit card transactions will
be prosecuted as fraud.
Ø
Merchandise held longer than 7 days will incur storage charges of $.50
per square yard each day.
Ø
Trash, old carpeting, padding removed from the job site will be bagged
and placed curbside.
Ø
We are not responsible for any loss or damages incurred during shipment.
Merchandise becomes the responsibility of the customer once an order is placed. Please direct all claims to the shipping co.
